Maintenant en Français

2018.04.05
A new French translation option is now included on the website of Dr. Ellissa Crete, Qi in Motion. It’s a great learning opportunity to research methods and solve website issues for my design clients. In this case, I got to research avenues of language translation and decided that the PolyLang WP plugin was the best choice. (See more of my W. Kootenay websites.)

Touchstones Nelson street installation

2015.10.17
My digital image from the BC mining town of Sandon was selected for the Vernon Street service door, gracing a busy Nelson street corner. I was pleased to hear feedback from some observant people that it gives the façade a “trompe l’oeil” effect. I was lucky to catch Murray from SpeedPro Signs practising his signage skills…

Language of Drawing was a travelling exhibition by Columbia Basin Artists, curated by Helen Sebelius. Helen selected three pieces from my series, Triangulating Infinity, and two drawings of Hume Creek. The exhibition was shown in 2012 at the Kootenay Gallery in Castlegar BC and at Gallery 2 in Grand Forks BC.
